Is canda even in the UN? i know there pretty laid back, i wouldnt think they would care about war.

I thought that all the nations were in the UN but some aren't voting members. Am I wrong? I am noth that sure.

Yes Canada is in the UN, and even though the Canadian government says we are not to participate in the war, doesn't mean we don't care about it. Any moral person would care about such world events, it effects us all in one way or another. It also greatly effects our economy and the way business is conducted. There are many U.S companys that won't do business with our logging and oil company's now because of some decision our government made. I personally believe that the Canadian government should of supported the U.S. we have been long time allies and if you can't count on your neighbour who else can you count on?

Our government made the right decision. Most Canadians don't want to be involved with the war and are furious that Canadians are involved with the exchange programs and as escorts for ships. Canada is a peaceful country, always has been and, hopefully, always will be. If the UN had been in support of the war, you can be sure that Canada would be there helping our neighbours to the south. If the war served a good cause then I'm sure we'd also be there. Yet this war is seen by most to be Bush's attempt at following in his fathers footsteeps and nothing more, they want oil period. Maybe this isn't the truth and Bush isn't doing the right thing, but I don't believe that and most other Canadians don't either, hell most of the world doesn't even believe that.

Anyways that's my two cents....


PS -- Shouldn't this possibly be in Cosmos?
