    very simple java tutes / explanations

    hi,
    this isnt exactly related to programming security in particular, but is programming related either way, im doing java at uni and am having some trouble understanding the concepts of lists and objects, im wondering has anyone got a tute or know of a site that has tutes on this kind of thing (specifically java, NOT the API please as ive looked at it and its made the situation worse)
    any help would be really good, as the lecturer has been of no help at all
