Say you wanted to find out an IP range. I am trying to figure out University of Florida IP range and have no clue how to go about and do this. Anyone point me to the right direction or offer an explantion him/herself?

Why would you want the IP range for the University of Florida? If I were you I wouldn't do anything stupid with a University network. Just a suggestion....

Re: IP Range
I agree with an above post about checking out samspade.org. That site should help you out. Or, even better, download the Sam Spade program. It's got a ton of network tools all rolled into one nice little GUI. I've been using it for a few months now.
Or, do some in depth research about IP addresses, how they are assigned, and the ranges each class gets. That will help you out down the line eventually.
