Non security related Linux Question
I need some help and I know someone here knows the answer 'cuase all the geniuses are AntiOnline Members
OK So to the point.
I need to create an alias pointing at a file that has the users listed in it.
eg.
I need the all alias
to point at /etc/userlist
how do I do this in the /etc/aliases file?
I would really appreciate ANY help I can get.

You could try this
alias userlist "vi /location/of/file"
Then if you type userlist the contents the the file will be listed.

Hi r3b00+,
either I have no idea what you are talking about (most likely) or I did not make myself clear.
If the latter is true then may be what I forgot to mention was that I am trying to send mail to [email protected] that will then be sent to all of the users in my list. I would like to do this using my existing linux 7.3 box running Sendmail.
I really appreciate the help though
