Hmmm...the article was pretty vague and contains little information to increase security at the application level. However the link at the bottom contains a lot of good information on securing BIND including examples from configuration files.

Yep, you are right.
This is a decent high level read...
High level docs tend to be light on technical details as I stated above. However, they still provide you with useful info.
