I have a great idea and this would be better than any security conference EVER.

Jinx is primed and ready with his undies freshly packed and i'm getting tingles just thinking about it.

The 411 :
My mother has a huge building (9 acres under roof) that is sitting empty.
It comes pre-kitted with a 3 phase power supply and there is alot of rj45 lying about.

Unfortunately I am in scotland but hey. It could be a hell of a lanparty/security conference / kegger / excuse to see scotland.

Suggestions Welcome but I'm sure some of the big security companies would love to come see us.

We could have one mother of a big party my end of the sea and perhaps some of you who

a. can't afford
b. are to young
c. are to bloody far away
d. are getting dogs, married etc could join us by web cam or net meetings.

I will get some pictures of the building tonight and post them here tomorrow.

Plenty of room inside for gaming. swapping. conferencing. partying. chatting.

I'm sure a zion like atmosphere will be present. All the greatest minds in one place either physically or by WAN.

How cool will this be.

by the way its BYOPC and sleeping bag if your staying.

I will check the calendar etc for dates and start gathering sponsors and speakers for the event.

I will even get some of the little security companies to come out so we can just ridicule them.

I am sure that a good time will be had by all.

Yeah.. after the mariage and before the dog I'd like to come over..

I've got my entire gear in two bags
bag one (Toshiba 5100-603 mouse, utp and power)
bag two (external Keyboard, 250Gb firewire disk, power, locks and stuff)

so I think it's easy for me to fly over.. (which airport is closest to you?)

Details of location will follow.

Closest Airport. = Glasgow.
Closest Train Station = Cleland.
Closest Bus Station = Buchanan Street Glasgow.

Europe etc is easy to get here by train.
USA = plane

Forget that summer holiday. I'm sure we can kill a week in rainy scotland.

If I get a big enough calling I can arrange daytrips from the factory to famous sites in Scotland
Castle Visits etc.

I'm sure this would be better than staying in some ruined castle at £150 a night.

I will let you guys stay for free.

I will see if gore can maybee bring his band. anyone else going to entertain us while we are there ?
