LOL neg. Nice symbol (symbol of Oppresion)

This is gonna be my first year that I get to vote , and of course I'm registering as a republican.

Its kinda funny though because on my dads side of the family they are 100% Democrats, but on my moms side they're 100% republicans.

Heh, my family's like that. My dad's side is hard-core democrat and even though they have no idea what they're talking about (ever) they'd argue with a brick wall about how awesome the democratic party is no matter who was running for office. The people on my mom's side generally pick the person they like best no matter what side they're on and then either vote republican or don't vote at all, lol. I like the republican party better, but I also like to look at the candidates before I vote (esp in a pres. election).

    lol.

I guess its kinda sad but when I start voting this year, or next, I'll pick the republicans that I like, then when I get to the smaller offices where I don't know the candidates I 'll just run down the list voting republican.

I get the run down the list and pick republican thing from my uncle. He is hardcore republican. Thanks to him I was able to meet President Bush, and talked to our Governor Mike Huckabee for a while(Arkansas governor).

I'm for who will do the best job, be the right leader. This forces me to research the candidates more thoroughly than some others might. What's a little extra work when deciding on something so important. Party is not all important. Competence and principles are.

    Australian Socialist Alliance

The Socialist Alliance is an anti-capitalist party. We stand for socialism — democratic ownership and management of the social wealth. We believe that a society based on satisfying human need can be created, but only by taking power from the elites who now rule.

We stand for a society run by and for working people, both here, but also internationally. We believe that socialism will be won by the power of the masses on the streets and in the workplaces. We seek election to parliament not to "represent" the movements, but to help build them, resource them, and help them win.
