Konqueror question...
how do I get Konqueror to load Google.com when I start it up instead of the file/:usr/share/doc/HTML/index.html
I've been sitting here for 30 minutes trying to figure this out................mabey I'm just tired.........

Settings > Configure Konqueror, Select File Manager in the left panel, then under the Apperance tab, set Home URL: to whatever you want for your start page.

using Mandrake 9.1...... I went to Settings > Configure Konqueror, ......... theres a place for Home URL..........I set that to http://www.google.com/
I dont see a left panel....

Hmm, I happen to run Mandrake 9.1 on my laptop, so i fired it up, and messed around with some things. As far as I could find the Home URL: only works when you click on the Home button up top. A somewhat easier way to accomplish this is to open the properties for the konqueror icon on your menu bar, and add "http://www.google.com" to it as I show in the image here
