H.323!?
My w2k computer is having several ports open besides the once i have services running on.
I would like to know how to block port: 389, 1002, 1031, 1032 and 1720
I've used "Active ports" to see what applications is listening on these ports.
It's: MSTASK.exe, svchost.exe, inetinfo.exe
But i can't block these programs, so i want to block the ports.
I'm running ICS and thw w2k computer is hosting the internet connection. I've read that running ICS caused some of the aboce mentioned ports to be open.
Can i close them and still run ICS?
Is there a better way to share a internet connection, than through ICS? And in that case: What, Where, How?

one simple solution would be to get yourself a firewall, and block the ports with that... here are a few free ones:
ZoneAlarm (www.zonealarm.com/products/za/pestpatrol.html)
Kerio Personal Firewall (www.kerio.com/us/kpf_home.html)
Outpost Firewall (www.agnitum.com/products/outpost/)
Hope that helps!
