ASM compiler

I have an MASM32 compiler and every time i try to compile anything it comes up with a window that says it ran into an error and it needs to close. Does anyone know if i can fix this compiler or do i need to get a new one?

i would suggest this:

try another compiler first... and if that doesn't work, then try to troubleshoot the problems that might occur.
