I am new to the security side of the internet and I read in an article that WIndows isnt a good os to try and hack with and that you would want to work from Linux. I dont doubt what the article said but I have no clue why.

Why cant you hack with the windows OS? I thought most of the tools were written to run of windows machines. What can Linux do that windows cant?

I am not trying to start trouble I am just curious that is all.
