    Telnet into irc

Okay I can get into the server but then I don't know what to do.
Does anyone know the commands to use after they are in?

I am trying to get into irc.aniverse.com on 6667

And by the way, I checked all the old forums, nothing useful, and I am trying to do this not for illegal uses. I just want to learn how I can do things.

if you do use telnet for an irc client you might have some trouble with the ident response required/asked for by most IRC servers. Although the ident response is anot always required for connection, the irc server will flag yer name... or possibly deny you access...

Hey thanks a lot guys; your information was very helpful. Does "Antionline" have a irc chat?
