Just curious if anyone knows how to switch from kde to gnome as my default through the command line. Oh BTW its a Debian 3.0 r1 installation. PeacE -BoB

- edit your /etc/rc.conf - Change the line where DISPLAYMANAGER="kdm" to DISPLAYMANAGER="gdm" - Change the line where XSession="KDE" to XSession="GNOME" That is if you have all libraries and the gnome installed ,of course. Greetz,
