    DVD/CD Burning machines

    im wanting to bulid a machine purely for copying DVDs im wanting to be able to copy around 5 at a time is this possible ? and could anyone tell me the specification of the hardware i would need to build the machine?.

    I will not even mention the word "copyright"................5 at a time? that is commercial....

    If you really do have a need (and the legal right) to copy DVDs in those quantities, you really need a specialist DVD production machine.

    Whilst a PC will "do" it...it does NOT do it well. It will typically perform the task one disk at a time. You would need multiple PCs..........cheaper to buy the proper kit.

    How frequently would you want to do this.................could be a lot cheaper to sub-contract the work to a specialist company?

    If you study a PC close up, you will see that it is impossible to slot a multiple disk feed into a 5.25" drive bay?

    I believe what you are looking for is a duplicator.This hardware does not come cheap. Take note of the advice given by nihil, and also note that you will be unable to duplicate copy protected DVD's.
