Well there are no browsers that do this automatically..I don't know what browser you use, but in some browsers they let you configure a proxy server so that every time you start your browser, in the background it connects to the proxy, and all your connections will originate back from that proxy..I use public anonymous proxies, search for them in google...And read up on proxies a bit in case you don't know what they are... hope this helps...

    Use a proxy server-
Google search for free anonymous proxy servers

Someone told me that cookies can be used to retrieve private information.. Is this true?

Some sites use vbscripts to install spyware into your computer (realphx) - might want to get a browser that disabled vbscript.

disabling java is a good idea for privacy also
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

    in addition

I never disabled my java, but I like to disable my active x controls because by doing this you can prevent most active x controls scripted for browser hijacking or dialer hijacks. (ie spyware kiddy scripts)

ok firstly what are you looking at that you wanted encrypted?

my first guess is that its porn and you dont want someone or your isp to look at it.

My second and more reasonable guess is that your looking at hacking/security data and someone is blocking or not letting you go on to that site or they know you go there.

to answer most, blocking cookies is gonna help but not really, if you have a hacker watching your computer he can check your history (which you can set to delete straight away) but if the hacker has access to the isp's computer (not to likely (but possible)) or the proxie your using (more feasible) he can check the logs there for your ip address.

Now you said that you wanted to encrypt you webrowsing the theory of encryption is you encrypt something and you pass it along to be unencrypted at the destination. If you wanted to encrypt your webrowsing you would have to make a encrypt/decrypt package that works on TCP/IP level. but then still your destination would have to have a encrypter/decrypter, that alright well if it was a friend who was the destination. But the internet is not on you friends computer.

your proxie or isp would have to have a encrypter/decrypter but then it would not be able to be encrypted the whole journey, which really defeats the purpose in a way. The only other option is to have your host computer (of the website) install the encrypter/decrypter but when u travel to like 200 sites a day, i dont thing this will happen to shortly.

but too stay safe, look up only legit stuff, or do it on a public pc, or better yet use an analogue coupler and a laptop.(better yet dont (people with think your FBI))

    hope i helped l8ter Modderfokker

What exactly is it you are looking for?

    Is it anonymous browsing?

    Or is it e-mail/P2P messages?

A bit more information would be useful?

    Cheers
