    Someone help me remember...

the name of the tool that is similar to TCPView but actually maps processes with greater detail. For the life of me, I cannot remeber the name of the damn thing and of course I need the tool right now.

If anyone can help the mentally impaired, I'd appreciate it.

Are you talking about this ?? :
TCPVStat displays the name of the process that owns each endpoint, and the amount of data transferred over an endpoint

TCPVstat is close but is isn't the one.
TDImon I am familiar with but also is not the one.

Hmm, I think Tedob1 had mentioned it or at least he was involved in a thread where the tool was discussed. If I had to guess, it was within the last few weeks. Maybe this bit of info will tip someone off as to what I'm looking for.

Thanks for the responses so far. I appreciate it.

    fport ?

its CLI, but great IMO especially used in small scripts.

Nope, it's very close to fport and TCPView but in addition, it mapped out specific files to processes. For instance, the svchost process would have the actual file(s) mapped that are driving the process.

    This is driving me nutz!

    **EDIT**
AHA!!! I remember now! It is called tlist.

Thanks to all who offered the old horse a hand!

Yeah Phissy, it does but tlist does a little more. Here is an example of fport output:
    Pid Process Port Proto Path
    404 svchost -> 135 TCP C:\WINNT\system32\svchost.exe

Here is what tlist has to say about the same PID:
    404 svchost.exe Svcs: RpcSs
    Command Line: C:\WINNT\system32\svchost -k rpcss

It's that extra info that I am after that tlist gives.
