windows taskbar icons slow

when i first logon on to my windows xp professional the taskbar icons take 5 minutes to load up. when they are all done loading then i can click stuff off of my desktop and open it. i only have to load 5 icons. is there a tweak or fix for this problem? any help is appreciated.

go to Start and click run, type in msconfig. when the dialog box opens click on the "Startup" tab in the right top corner. There you can uncheck which programs you dont need to load during startup. I have every one of them unchecked, when i turn on my computer it instantly is ready. WHen you finish unchecking click apply and then ok, the restart your computer.
