Good news for Suse addicts...

Novell: SuSE stays the same, for now
PETALING JAYA: Networking software giant Novell Inc ( www.novell.com) does not have any plans to change anything in the Linux operating system from its recently-acquired SuSE AG ... at least, not in the medium term.
For all of you who were worried about Novell changing Suse.

Yeah, I was pretty happy too. I like my Suse just like it is right now...

I was a Redhat user until January. I read that Redhat was going to retreat from the desktop with this last distribution.
I bought the shrink wrapped Suse 9 and was very happy with the install. I like the look and feel. It configured very nicely, the only glitch was my second NIC ( I should have turned on at least one of the other computers on that LAN)
But overall a great product.

I was pretty proud of SUSE last night when I saw it being sold in Borders of all places...
