Economical PC. Hmmm
Take a integrate chipset soundcard instead of a creative soundblaster card. Get Cheap Speaker. Buy a CRT Monitor (No LCD). Get a DVD/CD Rw Combo (No Separe Unit and NO DVD Burner). Get a cheap processor.
The stuff that you need to put money on is.
MotherBoard, Memory (512 MB at least) and Video Card (Not Integrate Chipset Here!) I suggest Nvidia 5*** or Radeon 9*** at least.

and get cancer from all the radiation. The ENERGY STAR program made CRT monitors more economic friendly.

With all the CRT Tv out there, one more CRT Monitor won't change a lot? A few day more?
