Problems setting the default printer
Gee, seems like I'm posting questions here left and right nowadays...
Okay, my latest problem: we have a computer on our network that's having printer problems. The user wants her local printer to be the default printer. Simple enough, I just set it as default. Howevfer, next thing you know, she goes to print, and the computer has -- evidently on its own -- reset the default printer to what it was previously.
So how do I make what I set to be the default printer STAY the default printer?
I've already looked up one possible solution: one website suggested going into the login log and changing the VBScript so that it defaults to the local printer there. However, that's a realm I have yet to wander into, so I don't even know how to get into the logs to do that. Is that my only means of fixing the problem, and if so, where do I start?
