Firstly.... disabling the default accounts or changing their passwords.....
Disabl unrequired services like dbsnmp etc....
Verifying all the databse links.......
Creating proper user profiles for access to database with restriction on select any and alter any to all users.....
I am aware that oracle supports finegrain feature which helps u restrict the access to database.....
Oracle obfuscation toolkit supports partial encryption of database..... there is also a new theary of virtual partitioning to further fortress the data.....
