Unhappy A loss in the family

    Hello all-

Not to bring everyone down, I just thought I needed to post this for this little cousin of mine.

Hunter Thomas Albers, age 5, of Maple Lake died Monday, January 19, 2004 at the St. Cloud Hospital due to injuries received in a sledding accident.

His father had not seen him in a few years and they had a big party to celebrate the two together. In the pm they were going sledding and another cousin hauling the kids back up the hill when they all reached the bottom of the hill. Hunter apparently missteered and rammed into the parked ATV causing the injuries and his resultant death.

This type of thing happens every day, and like the cliche, but it never hits home til it happens to you, only makes that realization even harder to take in.

Anyways - if you have kids, make sure to cherish them.

    -Thanks.

I'm sorry. I lost an uncle recently too. It's hard to get over someone.

That is so sad.. I grieve for the parents/close family members and all that knew and loved him.
I actually share that little boys birthday.. and to think that possibly the father might blame himself, or worse, that the mother might additionally blame that father, makes me feel even worse.

Please do your best to keep others in your family comforted.. and yes, cherish the moments you have with all those around you, for you never know what tragedies might be around the next corner.

Having two children that my entire world revolves around, I have no idea how parents who lose a child to death cope. My sincerest condolences. Heaven will enjoy his company while we will miss him.

I'm sorry to hear about your lost. My condolences are with you
I had to google 'jfgi' to see what it meant. The irony is overwhelming.
