password recovery tool for Microsoft Operating Systems
Came across this program and I thought it would be useful for those people who are either bored or needed something new to toy with.
Cain & Abel is a password recovery tool for Microsoft Operating Systems. It allows easy recovery of various kind of passwords by sniffing the network, cracking encrypted passwords using Dictionary, Brute-Force and Cryptanalysis attacks, decoding scrambled passwords, revealing password boxes, uncovering cached passwords and analyzing routing protocols. The program comes in two versions because of the differences and limitations of some API.
you can download it here

LC4 is a well written program for password auditing and recovery but it does cost $350.00 for 1 License and alot of people don't have the kind of money to burn so by sharing a program that does the same job for free. I imagine most people would go with the free one.

i know about the thread, i've written it myself :P
but lc4 has a demo version which is fully functional for 30 days i believe, and that should be enough to get the password
and that is for free.

lc4 why pay when you can download the crack for the demo version from the link below, like you say some of us don't like paying, some of us know of other means to use software for free where as others pay $350.00 for 1 License and alot of people don't have the kind of money to burn so by sharing a program that does the same job for free. I imagine most people would go with the free one. or try! DASM32 - Der Assembler make it available yourself for free.

Chris, your link contains porn in it. Next time please post it hidden. Also, we do not condone cracking in here. LC4 is 350 dollars for a good reason. For one thing, its a very powerful tool in the hands of the common comp user. Also, its mainly aimed at corporations instead of the general public. I had the company I worked for buy a licence for LC4 for my use to make sure user's did not lock themselves out of the systems.
Cheers,
