    Unhappy

    Since when is removing an “unacceptable symbol” a critical update. Recommended maybe, but not critical. Don’t get me wrong, I like MS products ( all there flaws included) but this is a good example of how their priorities can be kind of screwed up sometimes.

    today on ther news here they had a story on a critical update for miscrosoft products. They said it affects all software from microsoft from 1998 onwards. They also said to goto microsoft.com and find out how to patch it by installing a firewall. Also said that hackers may want to get into you system and impliment a virus, yes hackers want to hand place they're virus's, right....

    I reckon the advirsory should read (lol):
    To all windows users, your system has a virus, delete everything off your computer. Goto the computer store and buy the patch. Patchname: Slackware linux

    overprotective americans

    <rant>
    Well IMHO it has to do with the "overprotective" way life in the USA is organised..
    Consumer pressure ( do you feel the pressure from the jewish lobby ?? )
    Example.. an average 12 year old in USA has seen 19000 dead people (75% of wich black) on T.V. and only one boob (also the exegerated reaction on that incident kinda proves the "overprotective" nature)
    </rant>

    modderfokker, that's about the "other" critical update

    I've been getting email w/attachments saying that **** all week. I have never gotten them a lot before though. Is there an increase in virii email due to retarded M$ patches?

    -Cheers-

    My guess is these are W32/Dumaru virusses.

    Someone who has your email address is probably infected.

    Where have you been lately?

    As for the patches, Dumaru, Sober and MyDoom only abuses a bug in the users brain that says they must open all attachments they receive. Neither one uses a bug in Windows, IE and/or Outlook.

    I find this amusing and wonder how long it will be before the Apache Tribes here in the Southwest complain about the removal of the Swastika, which is a symbol of peace or prosperity, good will, something along those lines in their tribe. They were using it centuries before Germany ever became a nation and the National Socialists ever took power.
