Happy Valentine's day anyway.
Northwestern is one of a growing number of high schools in South Carolina that ban Valentine's Day deliveries to students. Principals and other school officials say the hassle of getting the deliveries disrupts the school day and keeps students distracted.

Somehow, I don't remember this being a problem when I was in high school.
I came in to the world with nothing. I still have most of it.

I went to high school in the mid 60's and I don't think we ever had a delivery for a student.
Last year, Clousell wound up with two dozen roses, three balloons and a big bear. With a card and dinner, her boyfriend was out about $150. She spent about $30.
And nobody I knew had that kind of money avaible.

bah humbug... oops wrong holiday..
I don't think there's one holiday that I enjoy.. apart from my kids birthdays, I could care less about any day.. nothing special about most of them now.. imo.. commercialism takes all enthusiasm out of them..
