interesting somewhat lame tried to clear up the difference between a black hat and a white hat.. using the white hat as a sys admin on a honeypot and the black hat hacking it worth a look? you be the judge

The black hat perspective sounds really script kiddie.
I don't know how it works, but at least it'll get me a command prompt
but..as for the white hat perspective, i think computer (L)users can learn a thing or two from it.

This FLASH thing is cool, but it looks like the opening to the Matrix or something.
And the BlackHat guy looks like he's wearing tribal face-paint.
The info is a little bit dodgy though.

Unfortunately, it's probably an accurate description. The large majority of attacks nowadays happen when some kiddie gets a new tool that he doesn't even undersatand and just flails about wildly until he root's someone's box. Then he has a staging ground for even more attacks, except he's anonymous this time.
