ummm. NO. You can get way better laptops for that price.

Work isn't confined to your desk when you use this Toshiba Satellite® notebook. It features integrated 802.11g wireless capability, so you can work online wherever you like. Plus, you get a DVD-ROM/CD-RW drive to create multimedia CDs and watch your favorite DVDs. The 40GB hard drive holds all of your important files and software, and the 512MB of memory is expandable to 2048MB, so your programs will always run fast.
300$ more and you can buy a laptop 3 times better.

No it isn't..................Dells of that age (PIII/650) have a lot of compatibility problems in my experience.

I once had the greatest pleasure in replacing one with a Digital Venturis PI/133............a far superior bit of kit.............well at least the bean counter got to make his presentation.....he would not have done otherwise

You would get that kind of money in the UK but not in the US...........we get ripped off over here

I am looking for one of my relatives to bring me a birthday present over, and I would be looking for a new P4 (2+Ghz) for that price ($600)

Also, that battery is OLD, how is it going to stand up?

    Just my thoughts
