    Proxy Hoping

    i know there is a way to do this but i'm not sure how to do it. how do i hop from proxy to proxy using Internet Explorer.

    I do not know about proxy hoping, is that hoping for a proxy?
    Maybe someone can help with Proxy hopping, ya think?

    I don't really know what you mean. Do you mean like going from one proxy like http://www.pureprivacy.com to https://www.megaproxy.com with a function key?

    As far as I can remember it was something like

    proxy:80 proxy:80 proxy Port:80

    That's to say in the address bar for the proxy in IE settings you'd put down all the proxies [port 80 or 8080, depending] and for the last proxy you would put the port number in the port box by the side.

    If you want to link it in the browser use

    http://proxy.host.ext-_-http://proxy.../site.to.visit

    or

    http://proxy.host.net:80/http://prox.../site.to.visit

    All these methods have worked for me in IE, but I did get 'reports' that it wasn't the case for some other people. Try and see what it works. Remember that one proxy down means the chain is not going to work.
