IE window wont close

Allright well here is my problem :

[1] I was posting a reply to the addicts forum
[2] The reply went through ... but the window stayed blank
[ How do I know this cause I opened another window and logged back in and saw my new post .... ]
[3] Now when I try and close the other window which I used to reply it wont close.
[i] I right-clicked on it and that doesn't work
[ii] I also tried alt+crtl+del and that wont allow me to do it either

I was just wondering does anyone know why this is happening ???

Most likely it is a glitch that occured in Internet explorer
Windows O.S's do strange things at times without warning. I would try restarting the computer That will close the window.

I just rebooted my computer since it seem the only way to get rid of it. But I'm still curious as to why that happened ????

Well, I could cut and paste a long winded very technical artical, which in actuallity will tell you nothing at all. Or I can say what DeadAddict said, as that probably explains it best.
When I used 98se and ME that happened alot. I now use XP and it only happens very rarely. (I won't say it never happens....this is a windows system....lol) Perhaps when Longhorn comes out I will be able to say extreamly rare.
[Edit] Your lucky. When mine used to freeze, I waws stuck untill I rebooted (hard reboot).
