Lightbulb Can't play MPEG & MPG Files

My Windows Media Player 9 suddenly can't play both mpg and mpeg files. So I reinstalled Windows Media 9 Series Codec but still can't play. I searched through the net but can't find any solution. Does anyone here has any possible solution? Please reply. Thanks!

have you tried reinstalling the media player. the file you are trying to play a different file because the file you are trying to play might be currupt. if noting works i suggest you un-install and then reinstall it again.

    you can download it from:

Try viewing your files with divx.
    http://www.divx.com/

Its free for personal use. If it doesnt work, then the file is corrupted. Do you get the same error for all your mpg/mpeg files?

    --edit--

Try out penguin's suggestion first (never saw his post -.-).

I have checked all the mpeg and mpg files, but all can't play. I reinstalled Windows Media Player , but can't work either. I will try out Phat_Penguin suggestion.

I tried the K-Lite Codec Pack and play the files using Windows Media Player and the Media Player Classic included in the K-Lite Codec Pack, but still don't work Zzz...
I attached the error screenshot when I try to play it in Media Player Classic.
Anyone know of any other solution?
