    Question Light Windows Forensics

Does anyone know if a utility that can view .dat files? I have been asked to look into something for an employer regaurding the use of Internet priviliedges at work. I need a way to read the index.dat file that contains all of the history info for Internet Explorer.

    Thanks!

I read them with notepad. The relevant stuff is text so you can see what was going on.

    "Index.DAT File viewer" sorry I don't have a link

WATCH YOURSELF! it does the job, but will try to change your default browser start page to something like "Super Web Search"

    Cheers
