    Arrow ASN.1 Vulnerability Patch

    Hi everyone...

    I was wondering if any of you have had the chance to install the 'ASN.1 Vulnerability Patch' (MS04-007), for XP Home SP1 yet?

    If so, does this patch seem to work as planned? Without causing any problems or additional security issues?

    Given that there aren't any workarounds (to my knowledge), I've decided to finally install the patch.

    I'm always so hesitant when it comes to installing MS patches! From my personal experience, there's usually a 50/50 chance it will either fix the problem or make matters worse.

    I've installed the ASN.1 Vulnerability patch on an XP Pro Sp1 machine
    & on a Win98se puter. No ill effects noted.
    Can't help you with XP Home. Sorry
