    Question I need a SendMail Pro........

    Hello, I need help with Sendmail relaying to Exchange. Everytime I try to send something to my domain, I get a reply that the User is Unknown. I am using Redhat 9 and using the latest SendMail. Right now i am doing a "tail -f /var/log/maillog" and I see the messages hitting my SendMail server and they automatically get the error message "User Unknown". They don't even get the chance to hit my exchange server.

    Why don't you try asking in the relevant forum and only once? Providing the proper info would go along way in getting an answer also, like what you have done configuration wise? Have you even tried reading the docs ?

    most exchange servers are set to verify the domain the mail is coming from by resolving the ip address. i dont know how your trying to do this but if your using a home connection it aint gonna work without a registered domain name.

    Sounds like your Sendmail thinks that the destination domain is local.
