Is there any way to find someone's location from there e-mail ? myself and a couple of others have been scammed by a pro on e-bay and can't get anyone to do anything. I did check the IPO's and there all different , any Idea's? olduffer

you can get info on the ip from the email header.. but it could also have been spoofed.

you went thru paypal on ebay and paypal says they won't help ?

I'd check with http://www.trollhunters.com/ even though they don't really help out ebay folks..

Thanks for the info, at least I can list him as one of the trolls , but would still like to catch the jerk, or at least find out where he is located.

Well maybe you can use a little social enigneering to get more info out of him.
Pose as someone else, find another listing of his.. email him.. praise him.. (they all have big egos) maybe pose as a female and ask for his cell phone or home phone number.
gather all info and report him to his local police department. there's always more than one way to skin a cat.. good luck..
