gentoo linux
I m looking for someone who lives in the bay city michigan area so that i can meet up with them for gentoo linux installation help. I really want to get it working , but have had no luck so far, have installed other versions of linux before , this one takes the cake , hard as **** , and i want it the most.

Just a few basic questions to get a better understanding of your situation...
What specific problem(s) are you having with the gentoo install?
From what tarball stage are you starting the install?
Have you search the gentoo forums and/or google with any error syntax you've encountered?

i dont know what the problem is , if i knew i could probably fix it.
but i get all the way through a stage 3 install , reboot to the bootloader and i get some error message that i can remember cause i havent tried to install it in a long time , something about not finding the kernel or the boot sector or something.
and no, i havent found anyone in my area willing to help me
