    Synaptic for Slackware...???

    Hello, I installed Slackware Linux 9.0, and I m new to Slackware. I have been used Redhat Linux 8. For Redhat Linux we have a software like Synaptic to update or installation of new Linux's packages.. But for Slackware what kind of software we have to do this...????

    Swaret is the updater of choice for most Slack-types. This Mini-Tutorial should help you. For installation of new packages, you can use apt-get or do it by hand as most slack people do.
