For the past couple of weeks, I've had a dos based program showing up when I start my computer.. It was named MATCLI. I looked it up on the net tonight and found this...

matcli stands for 'Motive Chorus Command Line Interface". It gathers information
>about your system's identity like your name, e-mail address, city, state, etc. and
>gets written to a log file. It is a Motive Powered Service from HP. To remove
>matcli, uninstall 'hp instant support'. The standard way to remove this program
>is by going to Start | Settings | Control Panel | Add or Remove Programs | Select
>HP Instant Support | Change or Remove Programs | OK.

I went ahead and removed this program. Now I am experiancing problems with my internet explorer. I can not sign into MSN, Hotmail, or Groups!!!! I end up with that white "page cannot be displayed" window.. ACK! Can anyone help me? Anybody else heard of this program? I'm on cable internet also. And I've read that this matcli is involved with the high speed connections too. I'm so lost with this.

I also sometimes get an error box that says explorer has performed and illegal operation!!! From trying to sign into my hotmail?!?!!?
