the merits of HijackThis were brought up by Pooh Sun Tzu. I haven't used the program but every time I use Google to check anything file related there seems to be endless listings of Hijack logs posted by people looking for help.

Is Hijack great, is it the lazy person's way to find out info on their computer or is it an ingenious plot to clog search engines and forums?

P.S. I posted this here because I seemed to be a general software utility. Please move if necessary.

Yes it is great because it gives you a lot more info than that crapy task window in windows, it gives you info about proccesses their location function etc...great tool, so is that all or you dont know how to download it?

Thanks for the offer but I can download it. I was just looking for opinions and trying to inspire some "General Chit Chat".
