Is ATI Radeon 9200 compatible

Dear all,

Is ATI radeon 9200 compatible with the newest game ? What i mean is it compatible with NVidia Geforcd FX-5200 ?

But my friend said Nvidia is more better than ATI ?

ATI and Nvidia release SOO many graphic card base on the core that it's virtually impossible to know that is the best except when it come to the top where the Ati Radeon 9800 XT is the best!

For your info, all Ati Radeon 9**** should be DirectX 9.0 compatible so it should be compatible with all the newest game.

ATI Radeon 9700/9800 are very good, and have a price label to match

The 9200 is "good enough" as he already stated, the one I would be cautious about is the 9600, as I have encountered driver & compatibility issues with it.

I also use nVidia cards..............guess you are looking at the 5400 as top of the range? fewer compatibility issues, so I like them for that, but I am not the guy playing the games?

in my oppinion there are 2 large brands, ati and nvidia, and the both have great cards.

it just depends on which game.
most people who play unreal tournament 2003 and 2004 go for nvidia since nvidia worked with them to create the game, so that brand has more advantage in that game, but ati has other great abilities in other games,

so there is no best, only best per specific game....
