You need to build up some trust from the people of the board man, I mean I for one am not going to go around taking from my time to break a 'ciphertext' that I cannot even be sure it's not just a hoax. Sorry, but I don't have the time, really.

Well... I wouldn't know where to start decrypting your message. Maybe this one would be more fun, by knowing how it was done in the first place. Its done by pgp conventional encryption.

Well if I can go in a tangent, a lot of times a person might have no idea where to start breaking a code. But in this case, we do not have enough information to try to crack it. It does not seem to be a simple rotation or substitiution cipher given the characters that are repeated. I could go on a million variants of what you did to encode it, but they could be only speculations for now.

    me need more info.

It would be handy to know some more about what you did to break this code.

I mean I could try millions of things to break this and be nothing further.

(How do you brake PGP.) I tried stuff on my personal key but really I cannot brake it without a very powerfull pc so hwo can I brake that stuff.
Since the beginning of time, Man has searched for the answers to the big questions: \'How did we get here?\' \'Is there life after death?\' \'Are we alone?\' But today, in this very theatre, you will be asked to answer the biggest question of them all...WHO LIVES IN A PINEAPPLE UNDER THE SEA?

1st Question: is this in english?

2nd statement: there is a pattern to this thing. It strikes me that a frequency analysis might do the trick. (the reason I speculation a frequency attack would work is that there are only letters -- no special characters, no numbers)

Anyways, gonna give it a go...

Well not sure really, it don't make a lot of sense, anyone onto anything yet.?.
I tried to decode it in my head, and i'm pretty sure that i'm onto something, but at the moment it still looks like jibberish. But for some reason it's starting to look like something in German..Don't ask were i pulled that from..

So are there any kind of hints available???

    .:front2back:.

greeting...no need to flame/criticize...if you don't like this thread, don't reply. If you want to try breaking the code, then go ahead...and whoever breaks it first post it on here to learn what it means...
