Help
Some one has put a trojen on my computer and i want to know if i could in any way trace it
i didnt delete it however it is dorment

Trace it...? I suppose you could sniff and try to see who is trying to connect to it. Usually if it's for a DDoS virus type it will probably lead to another infected computer and not the actually villan.

I have the EXE of the program and it isnt executing is ther anything i can do

well don't run the trojan lol
Best thing to do is delete, and put a Antivirus on there.
As far as tracing to see who is connecting to it, if you know the port number that it connects through you could look through your firewall log for connectoions to that prot number.

Can you save it as a .txt or zip it if it is bigger than a megabyte then send me a PM (private message) with it as an attachment.......then I can dismantle it and see what it does?

Win32.ProRat.16.A.Trojan
I am on an ARV (Armoured Recon Vehichle) box at the moment so my "sticky fingers" get a slap if I try to open it.................
It's a live one
