Thread: Deep Freeze

hey! I have a similar problem. You see, I bought Deep Freeze Standard because my teenagers seem to think Kazaa is "like the best program ever!" Kids - *sighs*. Anyway, I also lost my password. I was smart enough to write it down, been doing that for years now because I never could remember my passwords unless they were words like my wife's name, and from what I understand that's not very secure. But a washer does strange things to a piece of paper. It doesn't seem to care that that paper is my ONLY copy of the password; and of course the drier didn't help any, either.
The problem with Deep Freeze Standard is that there is no way for me to generate a One Time Pass. I emailed Technical Support two days ago but I have not yet heard from them. So I figure, maybe one of you guys who has the Professional Version can make me a One Time Pass? I don't know, I'm not sure how all that works. But if you can and would be willing to, my token is: 0030EA00.
And is it dumb for me to give out my token like that? I mean, you can't hack into my computer over the web with it, right?

I feel ya. I've only been net admin for a few months now, and I keep finding myself wanting to repeatedly tell people, "No, really, I'm not an idiot! Promise!"

Need to unfreeze Deep Freeze? Go to

    http://webs.uolsinectis.com.ar/c_delgado/

This guy found a way to do it! It works for XP/2K/9X and doesn't need to boot from floppy or CD.

OK That's enough, three identical posts amounts to SPAM and we really don't like SPAMMERS!
