    Unlimited edit on tutorials

I think it would be a really useful addition if the starter of a thread in the tutorials forum could edit their post (containing the tutorial) for an unlimited amount of time, rather than the 24 hours that the current configuration allows. This would mean that tutorials could be kept updated by the people who wrote them, rather than having to email admins/moderators to do this on their behalf.

What does everyone else think of this suggestion?

    I think that's a great idea.

Sometimes typos are found down the road and it'd be nice to be able to fix them up... As well sometimes things are outdated or new things come along, and they have to be added as posts at the end of the tutorial.. the problem arises in that some tutorial threads are extremely long, and when people are looking for the tutorial they don't bother to read the attached posts.... which means they miss out on some valuable information.

Great idea. I had the same problems with my Tutorials Index before I became a moderator (apparently making me a mod for that forum was the easiest solution for JP ).

Just one little remark: moderators aren't able to edit other members' posts.

Great to see you again btw, Mr. Waring

Perhaps it'd be a good idea to implement that too?

I think itd be a good idea, I have many tutorials myself that I would have edited a while back and I'm sure people writing tutorials now would be interested.
