    cd media checker

    this media checker to me from http://noeld.com/ to scan a cd for errors. it was a boot disk, a program called phlak, and when it got to a certain point in the startup it would have a cd i/o error. well, i burned a new copy of the phlak iso and it worked fine, but after running this scanner on the cd that didnt work, it says there are no errors. Is it possible that the scanner is not working?

    It's always possible that the scanner is not working or work as well as you may like it to. I have Roxio Easy CD/DVD creator. With in that there is a scandisk program that should check for disk errors on cd's but only if they where written to using Incd, so not alot of good.
