    Disk writing problem (DAT file)

I burned a disk last year thinking i was backing up some folders on a disk but after checking the disk again recently i have found the files not to be folders but one continuous DAT file about 450mb.

does anybody know how i can read this disk now?

Used nero 6 to burn the disk.

Do you know what kind of files were backed up?

    video files?

Looks like you created a vcd?

Why don't you see if you can get anywhere with ISOBUSTER... It will extract .dat files to mpg/mpeg files.

Just hope that they were really mpeg files to begin with?

If it ends up extracting a .bin file... then that is something you can probably work with.

Open back up nero and see about opening the .bin file.

Or, see if you can mount the .bin file in a virtual cdrom using something like daemon tools?

Let me know what you come up with. I could be WAY off though.
Quitmzilla is a firefox extension that gives you stats on how long you have quit smoking, how much money you\'ve saved, how much you haven\'t smoked and recent milestones. Very helpful for people who quit smoking and used to smoke at their computers... Helps out with the urges.
