New Site Code Tags
Hey Hey,
I think it's time for some new site code tags, I dunno how much work this would take, or if it's worth it. but I think it'd be interesting. everyone uses [edit] how about making it a real tag that adds an italized line that says edited on and the info, or something like that.. That ones not that big of a deal, because we all see the tags, even if they are visible.
The big one, is i think along with bold, Italics, and underline we should also have strike-out. Then when we modify our threads, we could strike out the old information, yet still leave it for overall continuity. It leads to better archival of information, and allows us a little more freedom to correct ourselves and modify information.
Peace,
HT

Well i'm gonna have ta 3rd this one..
If it was implemented then it would encourage everyone to Edit there post.
As you would have all these cool new toys to play with.
That way no more double posting, I know i've done that a few times.
Oh yeah good idea HT!
cheers

Hi HTRegz,
how about making it a real tag that adds an italized line that says edited on
Isn't that already there...................in a very tiny font (weasle faint?) at the bottom of the post? [I will test that on this post] so the mechanism shouldn't be a problem?
I think that strikeout is a good idea, although it might lead me into temptation
Cheers
EDIT: what does this do?

The "edited by" message won't show up if you edit your post less than 2 minutes after the time when you originally submitted it.
[strike]Strike through[/strike] is now enabled.

Oops, guess I forgot to mention what the bbcode tag is. When I get a few free minutes, I'll add a strike out button to the post/reply forms beside the other text formatting buttons.

[This Is A Test]
PHP Code:
$myvar = "Hello AntiOnline!";
for ($i=0; $i<10; $i++) {
echo $myvar."\n";
}
[/This Is A Test]
