    Talking unable to create pppoe in xp

    i'm trying to create a pppoe connection and it won't let me do it. I clicked on network connection>create new connection>select connect to the internet>setup my connection manually>i should select create a pppoe connection that requires username and pwd but it's grayed out.

    XP Home or Pro?

    Do you have the PPPOE protocol support installed? (I don't know if it's installed by default or not. XP is not my idea of an OS)
    Real security doesn't come with an installer.

    Where are you tryng to connect to? If it's your ISP and the ISP doesn't require it then you won't be able to connect to them over ppoe.
