google V. annoying
i recently installed my OS again after about 400 virii were found on it which means all my settings have been defaulted. whenever i go on google i get a pop down bar that tells me my previous search results. i don't want this as my parents are already suspicious as to why i want my own net connection and linux on my box in my room. how do i get rid of the little pop down menu? does anyone know

If you use the Google Tool bar (which also stops popups) then you have an options menue that will allow you to define what is kept in history and how long. (see image)

You can also download SLim Browser. I've been using it for a couple of days now. It's great.
