    Unhappy EBlaster

Hello, I'm new at this, so bear with me.
Been married for 15yrs. and had to put EBlaster on my husbands computer. He is very good the computer.
My question is, is there away around EBlaster? Because the logs from EBlaster are showing him going to sites for a long time, but I'm not getting any info from what he's doing. It's like he's not anywhere to be found. Can someone please help me, A.S.A.P.
    Thanks KMAX

    Web Sites Visited
eBlaster records URLs of all web sites visited. The exclusive eBlaster Activity Report includes:
    • URL visited,
    • Total time spent on each web site, and
    • Date and time the web page was first viewed.
It also records keystrokes... if you know the URL he's (been) at, and you know what he's typed, wouldn't you know the entire story then?
If you're not getting any info from what he's doing at those sites, then maybe he isn't doing anything (at least not on the computer... heh).

Maybe a better suggestion would be "marriage counselling", or "Divorce Court"...

There are ways around virtually any application, not to mention it is detectable by many types of anti-trojan software?

May I respectfully suggest that if you feel the need to spy on your husband after 15 years of marriage that you have bigger issues?

Wow... thats just harsh. Spying on your husband?

    Kids I could see... maybe...

What are the reports including? This program should be able to report to you the keystrokes...

Maybe you have it configured incorrectly?

neg and groov: wow you two are quick!
Quitmzilla is a firefox extension that gives you stats on how long you have quit smoking, how much money you\'ve saved, how much you haven\'t smoked and recent milestones. Very helpful for people who quit smoking and used to smoke at their computers... Helps out with the urges.

Neg utterly nailed my first point...... So I'll refrain from pointing out to you how far your marriage has already deteriorated and how long it will take to rebuild the lost trust.... But that's a whole other story.....

You say that he goes to web sites and spends a long time there..... Did you ever visit the web sites he goes to? They could be pages and pages of reading about how to fix his marriage, similarly they could be an hour long kiddie porn movie..... (not intended to scare you but this is the internet and there are a lot of "funny" people out there.....). Go and look what he is looking at.... It won't harm you.... It's simply bit's and bytes......

Then.... My personal advice..... Uninstall EBlaster..... Sit him down, ask him wtf he sits for hours on the computer for..... He may have a perfectly good reason.... Like Neg and I do.... He may not.... If, after 15 years of marriage, you can't tell when he isn't being forthright with you then i would suggest that you might have wasted 15 years.....

If he finds the EBlaster..... You are the one that is in trouble... not him..... You installed it for one of two reasons... You want a way out or you want to know whether he's going to be gone..... If it's the latter and he finds the keylogger then you just gave him the excuse!!!! If it's the former......Hell.... Just tell him you installed it..... He'll leave if he has any sense.....

PS: I am not a marriage counselor..... Tried marriage twice..... Gave up..... Have sweetheart.... 9 years and counting..... neither of us interested in marriage...... Bliss.....

Could it be that it isn't him? some sort of botware...........are these sites chatrooms for example?.........I have heard that's where "botmasters" tend their little charges?

Could be another explanation for you not seeing anything?

You have a real problem, and it is not just your husband.
1 & 2) If he admitted an affair, and you are working to fix your marriage, spying on him is a violation of trust -- which I assume you are attempting to build.
    3) Since he knows the spy program is there, it is very easily gotten around. A proxy could be showing and unless the keylogger portion is working you would not know he was visiting other sites.
    4) Attempting to spy on someone's online activities is not any thing a P.I. would even consider doing. It verges on, or is illegal.

If you wish to save your marriage, "I" would suggest you admit to him that you have violated his trust ( which personally, I consider as bad, or worse than an affair.)
Take all your spyware off the computer.
Get professional help, from either a marriage councilor or your minister.

From what you have said, "my" understanding of your situation is that you both are, or have been in the wrong.

    Good luck.

If you're unwilling or unable to identify and consciously acknowledge your negative behaviors, characteristics or life patterns, then you will not change them. (In fact, they will only grow worse and become more entrenched in your life.) You've got to face it to replace it.

If he is "good" with computers, he already knows what you are trying to do? Not to mention covering tracks, you would think would be a no-brainer.

Just throwing my bit on the table.
