    Gmail

    Hi,

    I don't know where to ask this question ( I mean the forum) so I am asking this here.

    Has any one used Gmail or knows about how to get an account with gmail. This service is by Google. The web page says that they provide usrs with 1000mb of quota etc...

    I know I am late in getting an account also in asking this qustion but it seems that they were giving free account to first 1000 users only. The service as mentioned on the google page doesnot give any information about when they are going to be available to the public. Also it's the Beta version.

    Gmail is under an invitation-only setup right now; it's still beta.
    It will eventually open up to the public in a few months.
